Hey Bronx bloggers, are you having fun with your Google Adsense? There are a lot of Google Adsense woes. Yes, you as a Web site owner or blogger can make a bit of money, but it is not much. Think of all the bloggers making $3 to $30 a month. Just like with foursquare.com, you don't make money or only a bit, but you get points and you think that you are getting more points than the other guy.
Are you paying for your Starbucks coffee with this income stream? Hey, interesting comments from readers with blogs. How much are you making on your Google Adsense? Of course the flip-side is business owners who advertise their products with Google Adwords. Without Google Adwords, there would be no blogger income on this. So blog on Bronx and Harlem NY, and keep clipping those wonderful side-box ads.

Creative writing, back to school for an MFA degree from Univ of Phoenix. Hey, bronx, what do you say? Back to School; Feel like a fool; It's just a restless feeling, by my side; Early dawning, Sunday morning, It's just the wasted years so close behind. Watch out the world's behind you; No telling when someone round you, who will call; It's nothing at all. (tune: Sunday Morning, sung by: Nico , band: Velvet Underground) I don't know, is it time to go back to school? To get my Master of Fine Arts (MFA) ? Then I can write the great American novel. What a business, is that a way to make a living? It seems like a long shot, but it's better odds than surviving Obama or winning the lottery. Hope that guy resigns soon, we may not make it to the election...

Alarm systems in the Bronx NY are a fact of life, if you want to hold on to your stuff. But don't despair because there are so many ongoing innovations in the security field, for example wireless alarms. The great thing about wireless alarms is that since they are wireless, there are no wires for burglars to cut when they are attempting to disable your alarm. Also, you can control your alarm and turn it on from a computer or from a cell phone. If the alarm goes off, it triggers a signal to the alarm monitoring station. They call you to make sure that it isn't a false alarm, before notifying the local police. Wireless protection points on your doors and windows are really cool. That way you can hear a chime when doors and windows open. You know what is happening in your house without directly seeing it. You can even adjust it for a verbal announcement of which window or door just opened up. This is convenient if your kids are running out of your house so you know what they are doing. When the alarm is on, the opening of these doors and windows triggers the alarm. To make everything convenient, you get a keychain remote so you can turn the alarm on when you are out of the house, and turn it off when you are approaching your door. The wireless system is great. You can turn it on and off with your cell phone. You can even call the company and notify them that you are moving. Then you pick up your protection points and within minutes you can set up an alarm system in your new home.

While Obama supporters fantasize that the world economy has stabilized, the collapse continues in Europe, with Spain the worse case. Better get that Glass-Steagall defense up for defending US deposits, not speculation in Europe. Liam Halligan warned in the Sunday Telegraph (from London, England, and the City o0f London) that the Spanish debt bomb is about to explode, and none of the European bailout mechanisms are big enough to handle the fallout. Halligan, the chief economist at Prosperity Capital Management, has previously written in the Telegraph that only a Glass- Steagall banking reorganization can save the European financial system from disintegration. Halligan presented a devastating picture of the onrushing Spanish economic and financial crisis. While Spain's government debt is relatively low when measured against GDP, the private banking sector's debt is 300 percent of GDP, and either Spain will be facing major bank collapses or a government bailout of the bankrupt banks, as happened in Ireland, causing the financial and economic disintegration there. Between the out-of-control levels of bank debt and the 30-40 percent collapse of property values, the Spanish banks, led by Inter-Alpha's Banco Santander, are all facing a pile-up of non-performing debt. Attempts by the Rajoy government to impose killer levels of austerity have already triggered general strikes and violent protests; such austerity measures are a path to chaos. Spain's official unemployment level is 24 percent as of March—almost two-and-a-half times the European average. Moreover, last week, Spain's benchmark 10-year bonds were being sold at over 6 percent yield, an impossible level. On April 30, the Spanish government has to roll over 11.9 billion euro, and in late July, another 12.8 billion euro. In February and March, Spanish banks alone took in more than 50 percent of all the low-interest lending at the ECB's special discount window. Halligan's conclusion: "The spectre of another eurozone bailout looms large—only this time far bigger than Greece, involving much larger numbers and in one of the world's major economies... Greece has already enacted the largest sovereign debt restructuring in history to avoid a big, disorderly default. Pulling that off involved a 110 billion euro EU/IMF package in May 2010, another 170 billion euro this year and a hefty bondholders 'haircut.' What would it take in Spain if that's what it took in Greece? Spain is a 'grown-up' economy. Should Spain need a bailout, and if (a big if) one can be afforded, then who's next? Where does this madness end?"

There is an ongoing threat of war in the Middle East and general nuclear war. The Russia's will not start this war, but they are being drawn into it. Alexei Pushkov, the Chairman of the Russian State Duma's International Affairs Committee, warned that the U.S. joint missile defense plans with six Arab states "may signal the possibility of a military strike on Iran," and that therefore "the likelihood of a full-fledged war is very high." Russia's top leaders have made it clear that they view the Obama administration's plan to deploy missile defense systems in Europe, the Middle East, and the Pacific, as part of a single policy of encirclement of Russia and China, which threatens the fundamental national security interests of those countries, and have repeatedly warned that they will respond accordingly. Pushkov was speaking at a round table conference on Iran held at the State Duma in early April. According to accounts in Russia Today and RIA Novosti, Pushkov said: "The formation of the missile defense system is a new step to signal the possibility of a military strike on Iran, at least in a political context... A missile defense system is only needed in the event that Iran decides to retaliate, since there are no reasons to think that Iran would be the first to launch a strike all of a sudden," Pushkov said. "The surgical operation that public opinion is being prepared for may deteriorate into a vast and full-scale regional war... The situation is not abating, but deteriorating, despite a flurry of political and diplomatic activity surrounding the Iranian problem. There are indications that the situation around Iran's nuclear work could develop according to the worst-case scenario," he said. This arouses serious concerns for Russia, he added, according to the Russia Today account. "The likelihood of a full-fledged war is very high," Pushkov said, according to RIA Novosti. He also said that bombing Iran's nuclear facilities could trigger a global war, as the Islamic Republic would definitely respond and its response may be asymmetrical. Pushkov, a professional historian and TV commentator with a career in the Russian foreign policy establishment going back to the Gorbachov era, became head of the Foreign Affairs Committee after his election to the Duma on the United Russia slate last December.

Celebrating with Diane Sare, running in the Democratic Primary, 5th Congressional District (CD), NJ, after a walking tour in Hackensack, New Jersey. You can see she has some supporters, so join the party. Stop the war before it becomes a nuclear war.

Masters degree in Health communications at Boston University. Boston MA is not a bad place to hang out, but I guess most Bronx dudes would take this online. Unless you are young it isn't worth it to leave the hood. Or is it? Bronx NY is where it's at.

The old dilapidated Andrew Freeman house on Grand Concourse by east 167th St in the Bronx, NY, is getting a makeover as an Art Center. I want to be at the opening exhibition, I hope I can make it.
