There are alot of desperate people out in the financial bubble, alot more than the desparate housewives. That's why the proofreaders I meet as a temp can be on the border of insanity. They are so desperate to hold on to their jobs, that they will not explain or tell a temp anything. They have to reaffirm themselves by seeing you and anyone else, fail. And it's a pretty lousy paying job anyway.
