Bill Clinton Has Let Us Down

Former Pres. Bill Clinton has let us down. He is going along with the campaign to re-elect Obama, although it could easily mean a full-scale thermonuclear exchange. Is that what you get by being "popular?" Here it is from Larouchepac.com on Feb 27th: Today, as we go about our usual business, few among us have even a clue that we are all living on borrowed time. In fact, were it not for the efforts of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Chairman Gen. Martin Dempsey, and a small handful of others among our patriotic military, much of human civilization would already have been annihilated in a global thermonuclear war. One need only pick up a newspaper to know that the entire, rotten global financial system is but a rotting corpse. That fact is not breaking news. However, faced with the bankruptcy of the entire Trans-Atlantic system, the dying British Empire is currently using the threat of thermonuclear war to induce the nations of Russia and China to give up their commitment to economic sovereignty and progress. If Russia and China continue to refuse to submit, London intends to provoke a thermonuclear exchange between the United States and Russia that would render the human species extinct. Were an attack initiated from the United States, Russia and China would have no other option than to respond with their full capabilities. The implications of this scenario mean the probable extinction of human civilization as we know it, precisely as Gen. Dempsey's warnings have implied. This is a truth that few of America’s so-called leaders are willing to face. And, as Lyndon LaRouche has warned, the upcoming March 4 elections in Russia, might just be the trigger for them to let those missiles fly -- and they will strike suddenly and without warning. Despite attempts by the British Empire to bring “regime change” to Moscow, Vladimir Putin remains strong, and has resisted all efforts to force him to fold. Open death threats have been printed in the mainstream press, typified by Foreign Policy magazine’s “Putin Is Already Dead”, and Boris Berezovsky's remarks that Putin deserves the "Qaddafi treatment". In stark contrast to every national leader in Europe, however, Russia has steadfastly refused to surrender its national sovereignty to London’s monetary empire, and instead, in partnership with China, has pursued an aggressive commitment to science and progress -- nuclear power, fusion research, Arctic exploration, lunar colonization -- everything which the trans-Atlantic world has rejected in the name of “going green.” But, the most dangerous aspect of the current situation is that the President of the United States, Barack Obama, is a homicidal puppet of the British Empire. Obama has already shown himself to be a killer - look at the precedent of Muammar Qaddafi. Just like Hitler before him, Obama will eliminate his opposition unless he is removed from office first. Who else is Obama prepared to kill? There is no hope for the United States or anyone else on this planet, unless the President to be elected is neither one of the four Republicans now on stage, nor the treasonous mimic of the ancient Roman Emperor Nero, British imperial puppet and established mass-murderer Barack Obama. Any Democrat who supports an Obama re-nomination must be either mentally deficient, or as Lyndon LaRouche has described it, a “Democrat who suffers a tendency for a lack of excessive courage for the true cause,” at this time of truly existential world crisis. Take the case of former President Bill Clinton. Bill Clinton is highly intelligent and a usually highly moral American patriot. But, he has made a terrible mistake by capitulating and agreeing to give public support to Obama. It is a mistake that, if not corrected, could be fatal for the nation. What possible excuse could account for this? Perhaps he will argue that the Republican candidates are worse. Or, perhaps the unspoken excuse is his attempt to protect his wife from further brutalization at the hands of Obama. Or perhaps the former President is gun shy following the assault that was launched against him (and almost cost him his presidency) following his attempt to do something great: to initiate a new, more just world economic order. Ultimately, none of the excuses are important. President Clinton’s capitulating to Obama is demoralizing the Democrats, by insisting on trying to rally them around the Democratic party rather than providing them with a real viable alternative. Support for Obama may mean the death of most people of the United States, yet Clinton is still pushing it. In a statement released today, LaRouche was blunt: “Obama’s operation is key to sending the United States into a thermonuclear global warfare! It’s only to the degree that we’re out to dump Obama, that we can possibly save this nation from destruction. Therefore, anyone who is supporting Obama has to be denounced as a damn fool, or worse. If we’re serious, that’s the issue. President Clinton has made a terrible mistake. We hope he corrects it. What he's put forth as a policy can result in the death of the nation."

Rock to Chinese New Year

Think of how much work had to go into constructing each of these dragons. LaRouche is right, we must have US, China and Russia collaboration for economic development, the space program and the future.

Chinese New Year was really something, and I was at the New York City, NY parade in Chinatown on February 5th, Sunday. I hope we can avoid war and insanity, both for the USA and China. The British financial system is going down, but we can put it through bankruptcy and have a future.

Moving from US to UK

If you are moving from the US to the UK, or vice versa, you need to know about removal companies. Juan Downey Show at Bronx Museum

On February 12th, there was an exclusive tour of the Bronx Museum show, Juan Downey: the Invisible Architect, given by curator Valerie Smith, Marilys Downey, widow of Juan Downey, and Juan Downey collaborator David Ross. Juan Downey was a native of Chile who later moved to New York to work.

Downey's work includes sketches, photographs, paintings and performance art pieces. This was a new game, and Downey was often not considered commercial in his time. Earlier in his career, in 1961, he went to Barcelona, Spain and Paris, France and was very concerned with Europe and modernism. Later, Juan Downey centered his work more on indigenous cultures of Central and South America. His videos follow peasant families in Latin America, filled with peasant families eating, villages, farming of terraces on hills and mountains, and waterfalls. Many of Downey’s videos are documentaries, but they were controversial when shown at the Clarity Film Seminar, because they were thought of as too subjective. Downey did this on purpose, seeing his viewpoint as a basic part of the film produced.

In early work, in Downey’s 30 minute video, Plato Now, participants are shown meditating and chanting. This is a performance art piece that was only performed once in a formal setting, but is captured in video. It was a bit like the story of Plato’s Cave in the book “the Republic.” Like Plato wrote that people in the cave only see the shadows of reality, people in the video only saw the shadows of people who watched them.

Later, Juan Downey went with the primitive Yanomami Indians in the Amazon rainforest to study them. He was fascinated with the Yanomami practices of meditation, and sketched many spirals and other forms associated with his concept of their meditations. Later, when Downey made sketches of an ideal beach house that are on display, he incorporated the ideas of the Yanomami, including their communal house, the Shabono. The Shabono was not permanent and would move every five years.

Downey also had a strong interest in European art history. The exhibition includes a number of Downey’s perspective studies of the famous Velazquez painting, Las Meninas, showing members of the Spanish royal family. He showed that the perspective had the best view from where the King would be seated, showing that Velazaquez painted for the common person, not just for royalty. Another video shown on a huge wall screen is of a French royal palace at Versailles. Downey was interested in politics and power, and also culture, with another video highlighted the work of classical composer J.S. Bach. In a darker piece, the role of cages and prisons is shown, referencing the diary of Ann Frank, victim of the Nazi holocaust, and victims of the Chilean dictator Pinochet.

In all, Downey’s work examines many themes, around the organization of architecture, politics, culture and society. The Downey exhibit will be on display at the Bronx Museum until May 20th. For more information see http://bronxmuseum.org or call 718-681-6000.

Eat More Chicken?

This guest post from Lewis Beck The other day I was on the computer looking for satellite TV service on satellitetvmadisonwi.com. While I was browsing for good deals for our service, I happened to do my twice-daily glance through my Facebook News Feed. Skimming down the page of people ranting and raving over friend drama, their minute-to-minute check-ins, and new baby pictures, my attention was drawn to a photo someone had shared. At first glance, this picture looks harmless enough. It is a shot of a strawberry-pink concoction in a tube shape being run through some sort of machine. The caption asked if you could guess what McDonald’s food this was. Too easy, I thought! It’s a strawberry shake!! I clicked on the “more” link for the caption. What I read chilled me to the bone. That pink mixture was actually processed chicken that McDonald’s uses for all of their chicken products. To get this mixture, the entire chicken (bones, guts, and all) is fed through a processor that grinds all of the ingredients in with the actual meat. Because of the fact that all of these parts are processed together, the entire mixture must be soaked in ammonia to kill the bacteria. From there, it is reformulated with chicken flavoring to offset the ammonia taste, and dyed a natural chicken-color before it is shaped into nuggets and patties. I was literally sick. That was all I needed to see to never, ever eat from McDonald’s again!

Hey Bronx, World War Baby

Hey Bronx NY, we may be facing World War, baby. And I don't mean maybe. Luckily the LaRouchePac guys are speaking out and the word is getting out in Washington DC that Obama is crazy. Capitol Hill Forum on Arab Awakening Takes Up World War III Danger February 9, 2012 • 8:52AM Two Washington-based organizations, the International Council for Middle East Studies (ICMES) and the Center for the National Interest Foundation (CNI), hosted a standing-room-only Capitol Hill event on Tuesday afternoon, Feb. 7, featuring presentations by former Ambassador Chas Freeman and former National Intelligence Council Middle East director Paul Pillar. While the topic of the event was the Arab Awakening, much of the dialogue centered on the failures of U.S. foreign policy and the danger of a war, triggered by an Israeli attack on Iran's nuclear facilities. Both speakers, particularly Ambassador Freeman, warned of the dire consequences of an Israeli or American attack on Iran, and emphasized that there is already a covert war underway against the Islamic Republic, involving assassinations, bombings, cyber attacks, etc. Similarly, the speakers acknowledged that there is a foreign-backed covert war being waged against the Assad government in Syria. In response to a final question from Helga Zepp-LaRouche, Ambassador Freeman acknowledged that both Russia and China were being drawn into the Persian Gulf conflict, and that both countries had vital strategic interests that were being challenged by the behavior of the United States and their European and Arab allies. While acknowledging the danger of a broader war, triggered by attacks on Iran, both speakers were less inclined to see the imminent threat of a global war, involving the U.S., Russia and China and the use of nuclear weapons. The moderator of the panel discussion, Peter Kelly, is the director of the International Foundation for Electoral Systems (IFES), an NGO that sends election observers around the world. He reported that his organization had successfully registered with the Egyptian government, and had placed monitors at polling stations around the country for the recent parliamentary elections. He chastised the other NGOs, whose people are now being detained in Egypt, for arrogantly failing to register with the Egyptian government.
